Impressive Assets

Las Vegas is all about reinvention, so the fact that Crazy Girls has been around for more than 30 years is pretty impressive.  It's the longest running topless revue in Las Vegas and has become a local institution.

Crazy Girls is a show with Serious Legs

September 14, 2018

Las Vegas is all about reinvention. Very little in Vegas lasts for decades without being torn down, transformed or taken over, so the fact that Crazy Girls has been around for more than 30 years is pretty miraculous. The longest-running topless revue in Las Vegas has become a local institution, surviving the demise of its original home at the Riviera to move to Planet Hollywood Resort (which is also now home to the iconic Crazy Girls bronze statue, featuring a line of showgirl behinds that people often rub for “good luck”).

It's all about the 'Showgirl Bevel', baby.

November 20, 2017

So, I've been meaning to write a post dedicated to the showgirl bevel for a long, long time. I feel rather passionately about this, so will try my best to keep it as short, sweet and as insightful as is possible. The aim of this post is to spread the bevel love and knowledge, with the hope that the world becomes an even more beautiful, shimmering, shining, beveling place to dance in.

October 17, 2017

This major milestone in VegasVille nearly slipped through our fingers: “Crazy Girls,” the shimmering adult revue that sparked the famous “No If Ands Or …” promotional campaign, has celebrated its 30th anniversary on the Strip. The show opened at the Riviera in September 1987, and the city marked “Crazy Girls Day” on Oct. 3.

In a town known as an adult playground, it’s no surprise Las Vegas is home to beautiful women who show off their dancing skills nightly up and down the Vegas Strip. Thirty years ago, Crazy Girls took the town by storm, changing the Las Vegas entertainment landscape for good. On October 3, the show officially celebrated 30 years of no ifs, ands or… well, it always celebrates a lot of butts actually!

Our Favorite Vegas Statues

October 01, 2017

There are important questions that people must answer as they go through this life. “What was I put on this planet to accomplish?” “Is all you really need love?” “Does there really need to be a “Will & Grace” reboot?” And, of course, “Which statue throughout the Caesars Empire should I take a selfie with?”

The "NO, Ifs ands or..." Crazy Girls bronze statue was placed in its new home on Monday. The statue was moved to the casino floor at Planet Hollywood, the new location for the topless revue, which called the Riviera home before that resort closed in May

June 04, 2015

Days before the closing of the Riviera next Monday at noon and its 60-year run on the Strip comes exclusive news that the 28-year-old Riviera adult cabaret headliner “Crazy Girls” will move to Planet Hollywood. The topless beauties get their own Crazy Girls Theater in the new Strip location, which also is the home of Britney Spears and her “Britney: Piece of Me” at Axis at Planet Hollywood and the future home of Jenifer Lopez at the same Axis theater.

French shows have been part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene from the beginning. “Lido de Paris,” “Folies Bergere” and “La Femme” all came and went on the Strip. But the French-inspired burlesque show “Crazy Girls” was part of the Riviera scene for 28 years. On Friday’s closing night of its Riviera run, some of the dancers shared memories — and malfunctions.

You might think being the wardrobe supervisor for “Crazy Girls” would be an easy gig, especially if you’ve seen the bronze sculpture of the dancers that is a popular tourist attraction. A keen eye is needed to identify any “costumes.”

October 08, 2012

For a quarter of a century without interruption, “Crazy Girls” at the Riviera has bared their butts and breasts with exotic and erotic dance routines. Now producer Norbert Aleman says his updated show will run another 25 years and that one of our Strip’s most recognized statues also will stay put.

October 05, 2012

Shows come and go on the Las Vegas Strip, but one constant has been Crazy Girls, the topless revue that is celebrating its 25th Anniversary at Riviera Hotel & Casino. With nearly 17,000 performances on the books, Crazy Girls is the longest-running revue at one property in Las Vegas.

January 10, 2012

The iconic and now-legendary “butt” bronze sculpture of the gorgeous “Crazy Girls” outside the Riviera will remain, but to celebrate the show’s 25th year, new ”butt”-posed photographs of the eight topless temptresses will be used in the 2012 marketing campaign on posters and promotions.

C'mon Get Crazy

July 21, 2011

In this issue, we revisit "Crazy Girls," playing at the Riviera Hotel.  For those who haven't been to Vegas in 25 years, Crazy Girls is one of the longest-running revues in town.  It has outlasted and out-publicized most, if not all of the other similar shows along the Strip since it began at the Riviera in September 1987, and it has never looked back.
